Droppin Some NYC (late)

Hello reader(s),

I am sorry for the lack of content lately.  I frankly don't expect that many have missed this but hell I think every once and a while I throw up some fun or interesting stuff.

Anyway  I went to New York City about a month ago.  It  was my first time and I was overwhelmed and underwhelmed as I walked through the city.  It is huge and amazing.  But for some reason nothing ever fulfills the hype for me.  That is not to say that the enormity of the city and the bredth of people there failed to amuse or amaze me.

I could walk the streets all day there and just watch all the things going on in the street.  The most profound image I have in my head from the four days of walking is a skinny girl in raggedy clothes begging with a cardboard sign.  A guy was standing in army green clothes and a backpack talking to her.  His eyes were sunk in and red.  She seemed emotional but uncaring of what he was talking about and instead was trying to score some money from passer-bys.

In car related observations, I saw a Prius try to run down a cabby.  The driver sped up next to the cabby honking and both shot through the intersection.  Needless to say the Prius did not win against the V8 crown vic and a surely experienced New York daredevil cabby.

Anyway my photos are all over the map and unedited.  I mostly focused on NYC bicycles and cars.   Enjoy...
