I have another batch of photos from Volksfest. This one has some of my favorite cars from the show in it.
So without further...

See if you see the ghost

How about now?

I loves me a slammed square back.

I love the lines on this Ghia. I think it is a special version. There were 2 at the show.

Wouldn't that be fun to do rust repair on?

Who drives a shoe? Seriously!

Maybe this guy.

Really like the air cleaners on this trike.

The shoe was set on a bug pan. I wish I could have talked to the owner about its construction.

Inside.

The only way to go haha.

I only got bits and pieces of this car. But they were all the good bits and pieces.

This guy slept up there last night. My brother and sister walked up and the first thing he says is "Climb up there."

How could you resist?

It was a very nice car too, cb disk breaks all the way around, a nice paint job, faux wood spoke wheels, mint interior... and of course roof mounted tent.

There were a bunch of buggies.

Now we get to two of my favorite bugs of the day. I think the first may have been in Hot VWs

Boost anyone?

I also really like the new beetle tail lights.

That one was nice and very very clean but this next one is my all time favorite bug of all time (did I already say that).

Yesss

Yeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssss

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeessssssssssssssssssss

YYYYYYeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssssssssssssss

Interior break, take a breath.

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhh YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

To top it off the guy had it fuel injected (that's a throttle body). I saw the lap top sitting in the passenger seat and I had to take another look. The car was perfect in my opinion overstated, understated, new and classic. OH YEA!

Copy cat.

I liked this bug a bunch as well. Clean and subtle.

I'm a sucker for shiny hub caps.

Vintage cabin air conditioner.

Flame thrower exhausts. Didn't see them in action though.

Shiny black paint.

I'll finish it off with this radical kit car. Anyone know what it's called?
Ill be back... with more!
