A loss

Hello Reader(s)

My Aunt recently passed after a long battle with cancer. It was a really sudden event in something that's been on going for a while.

It's sad to say but the whole thing was almost normal. Then all of the sudden she was on her death bed.

She ended up in a hospice center and let me tell you that place was nuts. It was beautiful. The landscaping was green and perfectly pruned. The inside was very nice. There was a great view of the lake. Basically it looked like a small upscale hotel.

But then if one peered into an open door the whole place flips upside down. Dying people were sitting watching tv, visiting with family or just sitting...waiting.

I really think they try to get people to forget where they are. I did a number of times. I know that sounds crazy. One thing that really tipped me off to this theme was a picture frame that concealed a connection for oxygen. It slid on a track.

Anyways here's my aunt in a few words...

Cathy Bauer,
A cool flower.
A warm blue eye'd smile,
that said "stay for a while."
Care that surpassed the self,
and nurtured everyone else.
Confidence settled inside,
resting though not to hide.
Instead it guided a woman,
strong, but soft like linen.
Even in the end she loved,
and will forever inspire from above.

Here's a pic from the man stickydiljoe.
The car threw a rod through the block. A loss though it's nowhere near human.
