I live at the end of a street. My friends live a few streets down. Usually when I walk to their house I take the back way. This involves several parking lots and a few alleys, all pretty unremarkable and frankly dismal except one thing which brightens every trip I take.
Yes its a car. One that five years ago I would never have liked.

Its a 1983-1986 Toyota Celica Supra. This photo came from an article in Super Street Magazine.
Ive started doing a little looking around because I think this may be one of my favorite Japanese cars of the 1980's. Its look just screams transformer. It has independent rear suspension, and an inline engine, though I am not sure how many cylinders it has.
I would love to drop a v8 in one.
I found a few videos of supra lineage.

I also found a pretty good forum with celica supra owners.
The down side to getting one of these babys is that they succumb to rust easily because of all of the trim and the nooks and crannys on the car. All I have to say is keep them alive.
Rust
Starts in places
deep and hidden.
It needs no itro
one day it shows.
The battle starts.
