The King Midget
Yea that's its real name. Slurs aside when I first saw this creation I though it was a childs toy, a primitive barby jeep of sorts. This is very much not the case.
Not only is the king midget street legal from what I have read and seen it was engineered as a commuter car. I guess a real comparison would be the smart fortwo covertable.

I see the resemblence.
They both are unpractical, small, topless, underpowered, ugly, and white. But this is not necessarily a bad thing.
First the engine. The midget never saw more than 12 horspower. But it was an economical one cylinder engine and this engine was able to propel the King M to frightening top speed of 50 miles an hour.
One reason for the top speed is the weight. The average King M weighed 500lbs and cost 500bux.
I saw one of these in Athens Oh. and I asked the guy about it and he told me that they were made there.
The opperation was a distributor of kits turned car dealership. Midget Motors Manufacturing was one of 3 branches of the company which produced the little bruits.

Cheers
